POSITION SUMMARY
The VP of Global Marketing will be responsible to shape and steer a Global marketing organization, with emphasis on Brand/Mission/Vision, Digital Marketing/tools, Marcom, and Tradeshows/Conferences/Events. This is not just about maintaining the status quo; it's about elevating Hach to new heights, where innovation meets impact. In addition to marketing, this individual will also be responsible to oversee Hach's sustainability efforts focused on realizing Hach's global commitments to greenhouse gas reduction, packaging reduction, and overall pro-environmental practices.

MARKETING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with Global commercial leadership to develop and drive a Marketing strategy that supports Hach's goals of market share capture and best in class growth.
  • Drive Marketing generated revenue and customer stickiness through actionable marketing campaigns, deployment of best-in-class digital tools, and memorable live events (trade shows and conferences)
  • Oversea the evolution of the Hach brand beyond the basic look and feel to an emotional connection, including an evaluation of our current mission/vision and a deep incorporation into Veralto's Mission and Vision.
  • Own Hach's digital channel providing customers with a best-in-class website, mobile, and ecommerce experience.
  • Evolve Hach into a leader in web-based transaction functionality. Through these efforts increasing customer loyalty and share of wallet all while reducing transactional friction and costs.
  • Partner with regional commercial and marketing leaders to determine an optimal structure between global and regional responsibility.
  • Partner with Sales Operations and Commercial leadership to ensure a seamless integration between marketing tools (Marketo) and SFDC.
  • Drive marketing investment down to revenue and ROI calculations to determine true impact and allocation of funds.
  • Drive consistent and relevant employee communication through townhalls, newsletters and internal campaigns.
  • Own/partner with Veralto and HR on Hach communication, including direct communication from the President.
  • Own Hach's presence and execution at tradeshows and conferences, including ownership of internal meetings/events (for example, sales/regional kick offs).
  • Lead by example by going to Gemba regularly to know what's happening in the market with customers, with competitors and your team.
  • Thoughtfully apply VES (Veralto Enterprise System) fundamentals to consistently deliver results.
  • Manage marketing budget to ensure expense targets are met and forecasted correctly.
  • Be a talent champion who attracts and develops a high performing team of A+ talent (expertise, drive and learning agility).

SUSTAINABILITY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • As sustainability is a new department for Hach, individual will develop a Sustainability team and strategy.
  • Define what winning looks like and develop KPI's that gauge success.
  • Work closely with Water Quality Segment and Veralto team members to drive cross Operating Company Initiatives.
  • Fully understand global tender requirements and work to develop solutions.
  • Work closely with manufacturing, R&D and Operations to drive novel packaging and shipping solutions.
  • Ensure Hach has items in place to win tenders in European market and with Corporate Key Accounts where Hach sustainability is part of vendor selection process.
  • Clearly articulate plans and results to take sustainability from a fuzzy conversation to something that is concrete.
  • In partnership with Veralto, develop and drive an ESG strategy that advances Hach to the driver seat of regulation in core markets.
  • Develop strategy around applying and winning grant funds for Government related products.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of 10 years broad downstream marketing experience across the spectrum of functional areas with specific deep expertise in brand and digital.
  • Deep experience in ecommerce, web design/functionality for a high SKU count, consumable driven organization. Industry experience must include a high mix consumable business and some industrial focus.
  • Experience owning marketing for a global, complex organization (over $550M).
  • Bachelor level university degree. MBA a plus.
  • Experience working with SFDC. And experience with Marketo, Pardot or Eloqua is a must.
  • Experience in sustainability space or working on sustainability projects.
  • Prior sales experience is a plus, ability to speak revenue generation is a must.

  • The salary range for this role is $245,000 - $300,000 This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.
  • This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
