About the department:
NY Collateral operations provides Collateral Management support for OTC, cleared derivatives and fixed income transactions through liaising with ING Capital Markets LLC and ING Financial Markets LLC clients. The team oversees all margining activities under the best practices of ISDA/GMRA/SLA. This includes all CFTC, SEC and NFA regulatory reporting and audit oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new ideas and re-engineer processes to create more control or efficiency
- Manage and control the day-to-day activities and workflow within the unit, recommend/implement approved changes and deploy resources to maximum advantage
- Assist with the implementation of new approved working processes or procedures resulting from business optimization, growth initiatives or project launches
- Coach, monitor, supervise direct reports to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to execute their role and grow as professionals
- Implement and communicate policy or procedural changes to team members as directed by Management
- Ensure that work is processed efficiently and accurately within the parameters of service level agreements, service standards and performance targets
Qualifications and Competencies:
- At least 7 years of experience in Collateral Management, managing a team several of these years
- FINRA certification: Series 99 required / Series 7 desirable.
- Organized and responsive nature with capacity to prioritize and manage multiple complex issues under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Derivative products and pricing methodologies
Salary Range: $125,000 - $185,000
