Community Spay Neuter Clinic is looking for a full-time receptionist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be positive, self motivated, task oriented, energetic, organized and dependable with over-the-top customer service. They will have the ability to problem solve, work both with a team and individually as needed, and work well under pressure in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Greet clients and check-in their pets in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls, emails, and other inquiries from clients
- Provide information about clinic services, pricing, and policies
- Medical record management and invoicing all services, including filing and organizing paperwork
- Collect payments for services rendered and request donations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Must be able to lift and carry traps and carriers up to 25 pounds as well as sit and work on a computer throughout a 10-hour shift.
1 year experience with:
- Dog and cat basic vaccine protocols
- Answering phones
- Making appointments
- Window driven software
- Excel and Google Sheets
- Fax machines
- Scanning documents
