Receptionists welcome clients and patients to the practice. This includes greeting them warmly, effectively communicating and displaying compassion. Other responsibilities include answering the phone, scheduling and managing appointments, handling patient charts, filing, check in and check out of the hospital, filling prescriptions and much more. This job requires excellent vocal and written skills, flexibility, attention to details, and the ability to multitask. Dependability and customer service experience is required. Pay scale is dependent upon experience and train-ability.
