The Clinic Receptionist works in the Spay/Neuter Clinic:
- Veterinary experience and terminology are both required to be considered for this position.
Scheduled workdays Tuesday– Saturday 7:00am-5pm (Saturdays may vary)
Duties/Responsibilities:
Process daily paperwork related to the spay/neuter clinic and weekly vaccine clinic.
Provide exceptional customer service to all clients.
Work with numerous walk-in clients each day.
Work with clients in an environment with changes in climate with extreme heat or cold.
Answer numerous emails per day.
Scanning of materials for record keeping.
Assist clients with scheduling.
Retrieve’s information as requested from medical records, email, and other related documents.
Must be comfortable with working with animals in your office space.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Veterinary Clinic experience & Veterinary Terminology.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently.
Work in an environment with changes in climate and weather extremes.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer and on the telephone.
Prolong standing with changes in climate and weather extremes.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
Allergic conditions, which would be aggravated when handling or working with animals, may be a disqualification.
