Veterinary Receptionist

Carolina Veterinary Specialists is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Rock Hill. Our goal is customer satisfaction, and we are looking for someone who has a passion for animals and people. Our ideal candidate should be able to work compassionately with clients and their pets. Veterinary client service experience is desired. We are looking for 2nd shift coverage for our front desk. Please email your resume to be contacted for an interview.

Hours: 2pm-12am

Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in clients and their pets with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Schedule appointments and answer phone calls, providing excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records for each patient
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with various procedures, such as animal restraint, catheterization, and laboratory tests
- Educate clients on pet care, including medication administration and post-operative instructions
- Keep the reception area clean and organized

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal-related field is preferred
- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently
- Proficient in animal handling and restraint techniques
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping
