Veterinary Receptionist

Southeast Community Animal Hospital has an opportunity for a Part-Time Receptionist to join our exceptional team. We are a busy 2.5-doctor practice offering care to cats and dogs in our southeast Greensboro community.

This is a part-time position, Wednesday coverage is needed, 9-15 hours per week, occasionally filling in for call-outs.

Requirements:

• Preference will be given to candidates with animal-related experience; however, we’re also open to training individuals who love animals and have great customer service skills
• Self-starters who take initiative and pay close attention to detail
• Compassionate team players who have excellent communication skills
• Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time
• Eager to learn through constructive criticism and continued education
• Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs
• Passion for veterinary medicine

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Client service and communication
• Collaboration with other team members
• Managing multiple phone lines
• Booking appointments
• Greeting clients and patients
• Monitoring hospital flow
• Ensuring that the reception area of the hospital is always clean and presentable
• Attention to detail and awareness of surroundings, noticing areas of need within the practice
