Our Customer Service reps take incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, assist with checking patients in/out and ensure that all front desk operations run smoothly. A desire to work with people and animals, excellent Customer Service skills and good interpersonal skills are important. Previous experience working in a Veterinary Clinic is ideal but we’re willing to train a hard-working, motivated candidate.
Our clinic is owned by a single owner (born and raised in New Mexico and on the clinic floor on a daily basis), not a national corporation. The majority of our profit goes back into our clinic to get the equipment we need to practice top-notch medicine and for staff benefits so we continue to attract and retain the best vets, techs and Customer Service reps.
Competitive pay is a given. Experienced Customer Service reps start at $16/hour and many of our CSRs make more. We encourage professional growth and there is management potential for motivated, hard-working employees. We are hiring for 4 workdays per week. We're closed on major holidays and staff receives paid holidays off. All clinic staff, not just vets, have paid continuing education opportunities. We have a matching 401K retirement plan. We offer 6 weeks paid paternity leave for employees with one year of service. Education is the key to personal and professional advancement and we offer an annual tuition stipend for staff pursuing degrees that are applicable to the field of veterinary medicine.
