The University of Florida Veterinary Hospitals is a 40,000 sq foot newly built hospital at the World Equestrian Center (WEC), a high profile 300-acre equine facility in Ocala, 30 minutes south of Gainesville. UF Veterinary Hospitals at WEC provides Small Animal primary care and urgent care services and Equine sports medicine, rehabilitation, and diagnostic imaging services.
A Small Animal Hospital Assistant at the UFVH at WEC, assist with patient care, procedures, stocking, administrative support, and general cleaning and maintenance of the hospital and equipment. An individual in this position must possess basic knowledge of veterinary medicine and enjoy learning new things.

Available Shifts:
The hospital requires coverage 24 hours/7 days a week. Typical schedules consist of 8, 10, or 13.5 hour shifts. Will be assigned to a primary shift, generally: Day shift, Evening Shift or Night Shift. This position also requires working alternative shifts, holidays, weekends or "on-call duty". May require working holidays and weekends.
This position is considered essential personnel and requires a post-offer health assessment.
$15.00 - $17.00 / hourly
