We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients and their beloved pets. Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar
- Answer phone calls, emails, and other inquiries from clients
- Provide accurate information about services, fees, and policies
- Maintain client records and update patient information in the system
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with various tasks as needed
- Process payments, handle invoices, and maintain financial records
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal-related field is preferred
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology, procedures, and medications is a plus
- Familiarity with animal physiology, husbandry, and restraint techniques is beneficial
- Strong communication skills with the ability to empathize with clients and address their concerns
- Excellent multitasking abilities to handle phone calls, appointments, and administrative tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in computer systems and software used in veterinary clinics
