What You'll Do 
The Verification Specialist will provide administrative support services to our U.S. Verifications Unit via efforts to obtain verifications on non-criminal related background elements.  Elemental data consists of employment history, professional licensures, educational degrees, DOT compliance, etc.  The Verification Specialistwill ensure that their work is completed in accordance with the established FA policies, procedures and standards. The Verifications Specialist will support their manager, as well as Senior Verifications Specialists and other members of the team, with theimplementation of process improvement initiatives when needed.  Annually and as required, the Verifications Specialist will establish individual goals and objectives which will cascade from senior executive leadership goals. This role requires a low to moderate level of operations sophistication, preferably in call center and/or production environments.  Organizational skills, “customer/client service first” mindset, attention to speed and quality, as well as problem solving and executing with urgency (often within short-time frames) are key components for success the candidate in this role.
Responsibilities:
  • Day to day production and fulfillment:
    • Learn client SOPs and FA systems
    • Meet or exceed daily and weekly unit performance targets & goals
    • Perform all functions of role in accordance with clearly defined business expectations and individual goals
    • Research and verify contact information listed within an element to ensure validity of the sources via Company Contacts, Google, and other search engines
    • Communicate and respond with people outside FA, represent FA to customers, the public, government, and other external sources.
    • Document all elemental interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, comments, as well as actions taken in Salesforce, WinESP, and Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Refer discrepancies or unverified information to designated departments for further investigation.
  • Goal setting and execution; attend regular 1:1 meeting with manager; employee engagement participation
  • Attend Required internal trainings (for example, Compliance, Privacy); attend business unit meetings; occasionally may attend internal client-focused meetings at manager’s request. Meet and maintain departmental performance goals of daily number of touches and number of completed verifications.

What You Will Need to be Successful:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of work experience required, preferably in a call center or related role and/or with responsibilities verifying facts and data; demonstrated ability to perform repetitive tasks with a very high level of accuracy is preferred; Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA) Basic Certificate is a plus.
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications: 
  • Salesforce experience a plus.
  • Must possess a high degree of attention to detail, adaptability and the ability to multi-task.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for delivering an extraordinary customer experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams)
  • Effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner.
  • Self-motivated to achieve individual and organizational goals.
  • Ability to work in a logical flow to isolate causes of problems and determine potential solutions.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Position Information:
  • Starting wage of $17.50 per hour or approximately $36,400 USD annually.
  • Location: 100% Remote
  • Hours: Monday – Friday,  Standard 40-hour work week
