The User Researcher supports the Product and CX/UX teams by helping to coordinate and conduct user research activities.
Responsibilities
- Research planning Using a Lean UX mindset, help teams refine research hypothesis and narrow to the questions need to be answered first. Recommend appropriate research approaches.
- Design & conduct user research Create discussion guides, user questions, task scenarios, and online tests. Ensure the appropriate research stimulus (e.g., mockups, live demos, concept briefs) is available.
- Analysis & insights Compile and synthesize quantitative and qualitative results to surface insights that help drive program and UX decisions. Partner with program and UX teams to translate insights into actionable work.
- Research coordination Help plan and track research activities across multiple teams. Manage internal and external participant lists and help schedule research events. Maintain repository of research outcomes and insights.
- User feedback monitoring Monitor user input from ongoing site surveys. Surface insights and trends to program and UX teams.

Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience doing user research, either as a dedicated researcher or as part of a broader UX role.
- Familiarity with Lean UX principles.
- Experience creating research plans and user studies of multiple types (e.g., A/B testing, online panels, in-person interviews, call shadows, etc.).
- Experience conducting user research and synthesizing the results.
- Experience using data (both quantitative and qualitative) analysis techniques to inform design decisions and priorities.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with A/B testing tools (e.g. Adobe Target, Optimizely)
- Experience with Qualtrics
- Experience with online user testing tools such as Userzoom or UserTesting, Optimal sort
- Experience working in agile development environment.
- Experience working in B2B eCommerce and / or large-scale programs
