Description:
Their product offerings range from product warranties and protection plans on electronic devices, furniture, appliances, and more. They prioritize customer experience above all else and embrace change to the app as long as simplifying the claim process for customers is top of mind. Currently, there are around 20 Product Owners globally and this individual will need to be comfortable working with 6-10 of them at any given time in addition to collaborating with marketing, sales, and executives.
This individual MUST be confident in their strategy, opinions, and work. They will regularly be expected to present their work and offer recommendations to executives and stakeholders, potentially challenging their view to seek what is best for the end customer. For example, if an executive makes a recommendation the Sr. UX Researcher should challenge and/or defend their stance if there are better options that yield better results. They usually prefer to see 3 different research approaches backed by data, previous experience, and their business acumen.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
This Sr. UX Researcher should have some Insurance Experience or other regulated industry experience. The current team of UX Designers & Visual Designers have some experience with UX research, however this individual will be the primary UX Researcher and will coach/mentor a Jr. Researcher on the team. New and innovative ideas are welcome!
