RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
- Receive and unload rail cars and trucks into correct ingredient bin locations or warehouse and enter information on receiving reports as required.
- Inventory raw material tanks daily, record measurements, and report information to supervisor.
- Collect samples as directed by supervisor.
- Must have the ability to be certified for rail car mover.
- Must have the ability to be certified for forklift operation.
- Communicate to supervisor any issues that interfere with receiving operations.
- Perform housekeeping duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Perform load out duties when necessary.
- Must be able to perform duties effectively with minimal supervision.
- Must have the ability to cooperate with other mill and maintenance employees, as well as truck drivers and railroad employees.
- Must be willing to work overtime until the job is completed each day.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
- Perform basic level mathematical calculations involving subtraction, addition, multiplication, and division.
- Utilize basic computer function such as data entry.
- Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times in areas where required
