The successful candidate will partner and collaborate closely with user research, UX writing, product management, engineering, marketing, and data science. User Experience DesignerPay and Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $75-$95 (Pay varies based on candidate's location and experience)
- Worksite: Leading professional development and networking company (Remote, candidates must be located in the United States, Candidates in Pacific Time preferred, candidates located in Eastern Time will need to work 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
- W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program
- 40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment
User Experience DesignerResponsibilities:
- Effectively communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale and the specifics of user-centered design process.
- Create holistic design solutions that address business, brand and user requirements.
- Work with web developers and engineers to deliver final products.
User Experience DesignerQualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in User Experience design or industry experience (corporate, software, web or agency).
- BA/BS degree in graphic design, design communication, human-computer interaction or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have FIGMA experience, Google slides and docs, UX experience background.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (including user research, product management and engineering).
- Experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web and/or software applications.
- Solid understanding of user-centered and web design principles as well as current web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.).
- Ability to present cohesive design approaches to a non-design audience (including business, product and technology teams).
- Ability to create information architecture diagrams, wireframes, prototypes and screen flows.
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision.
- Ability to grasp multiple product requirements with careful attention to detail.
- Interaction design, visual design, product design, prototyping, communication/presentation storytelling, user research on their projects, cross-functions team relationships with product management and engineering, do not need to run studies but should be familiar with user data and how to translate.
