Quality Assurance Specialist

PureRED is looking for two (2) Quality Assurance Specialists QAS). These roles are key components to ensuring that we are printing accurate data in our client's weekly promotional ads. You will be almost like a detective: reviewing lines of data, running scripts, and looking for any errors. You will be proofing information in our OMS (Order Management System) as well as in Excel spreadsheets. If errors are found, you will research it and provide a "teachable moment" (training) to the teammate who committed the error.
PLEASE NOTE: Although this role can be remote, you must be based in Colombia Prefered in Bogotá
To be successful in this role:

• You need to be familiar and comfortable enough with Excel to navigate within spreadsheets.
• You should be used to looking at data (a lot of data) and reviewing for accuracy.
• You are comfortable navigating in basic InDesign. (This is not required but is strongly preferred)
• You have "hawk eyes" and can spot errors a mile away.
• Your problem-solving skills enable you to work independently & resolve challenges as they come up

Three (3) buckets of Responsibilities:

1. Quality Control (80%): performs quality control in ad building as well as data

Performs quality control in ad building as well as data delivery systems. Reviews all work before being released to client

• QA data in the PureRED ad building system
• Export data to the PureRED QA system
• QA data in the PureRED data delivery system
• Work with cross-functional groups to maintain quality of data and process
• Ensure data accuracy in all systems and timely delivery to the client

1. Training: Refresher & New roll-outs (10%)

Provide "on-the-spot training" as well as refresher training as needed. May be asked to assist with roll-out of any enhancements and/or new processes

1. Process Optimization & Reporting: (10%)

Assists with ensuring that all processes for clients are efficient, effective, and deliver quality products within budgeted timelines

• Work with client to develop their process flows
• Review and improve current processes to ensure efficiency & effectiveness
• Run traffic reporting as required by absences on team
• Ensure data is uploaded to traffic KPI
• Assist teams as needed to research traffic-based concerns

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in a data entry/processing or data Quality Assurance/quality control type position.
• Process-driven with ability to see "big picture" but can break down, process, and optimize individual steps or components
• Ability to review data, identify errors, and engage in "teachable moments" with other teammates as necessary
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent multi-tasking, proofreading and organization skills with precise attention to detail
• Can easily learn complex processes and systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable working with clients as well as cross-functional partners
• Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment
• Collaborative nature, works well within a team-environment
• Basic proficiency level with Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic InDesign skills and exposure to Adobe Creative Suite highly preferred
