Charles Schwab XD (Experience Design) is responsible for digital design across mobile, web, and desktop platforms. We are a multi-disciplinary experience design team comprised of XD designers, XD Content Strategists, and XD researchers. We work with strategic business and technology partners across the enterprise to build best-in-class software experiences for our users. Our business is driven by looking through our clients' eyes, which makes it a great place to practice user-centered design. We design tools and experiences that enable users to achieve their financial goals.
The Digital Services XD team seeks a Senior Content Strategist to support Schwab users handling critical transactions. The role will collaborate on UX strategy, create new content, and deliver innovative design thinking. We seek candidates with flexible skill sets who want to grow their careers and help clients own their tomorrow.

The Sr Manager, User Experience Designer, Content Strategist will:
- Transform complex concepts into clear, concise, and conversational explanations
- Apply strategy to balance user needs, business goals, system requirements, and functionality and platform constraints
- Write crisp, on-brand UX copy for wireframes, prototypes, and financial products
- Work with an engaged design team that fosters a learning environment
- Use design thinking and visual tools to innovate and solve problems
- Be the keeper of a cohesive and tactical content strategy that adjusts to new challenges
Requirements:
- Eleven or more years as a senior interface writer and / or Content Strategist
- Persuasive storytelling to communicate with UX experts and key stakeholders
- Broad understanding of User Experience to effectively advocate on behalf of clients
- A positive, empathetic, and proactive approach to working with a diverse team on tough challenges
- Exceptional skill at writing, creating presentations, and negotiating solutions with cross-functional stakeholders
- Adept with collaboration tools including Figma
- Experience with Agile workflow processes and tools
- Experience in finance and/or another heavily regulated field
