Located in Orlando, Florida, Pediatrix Urgent Care (formerly Night Lite Pediatrics Urgent Care) is the largest pediatric Urgent Care in “The City Beautiful.”
We are seeking experienced and dedicated Pediatric PAs/NPs to join our Urgent Care team in Orlando, Florida. As an Urgent Care practitioner, you will provide high-quality care to infants, children, and adolescents in a fast-paced Urgent Care setting. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the health and well-being of our young patients.
Job description:
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries in pediatric patients (newborn to 21 years old)
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and screenings
- Prescribe and administer appropriate medications and treatments
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care
- Work closely with supervising physician for collaborative patient care
- Provide patient and family education on preventive care and healthy lifestyle practices
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Pediatric or Urgent Care/emergency department experience preferred
- Experience with procedures such as laceration repairs, I&D's and urinary catheterization preferred, but not required
Schedule:
- Clinic hours are Monday – Friday 4pm-12am; Sat/Sun 12pm-12am
- Full-time, Part-time
