Responsibilities: 

• Image Magician: Your main mission will be to create clear and accurate ultrasound images. You'll skillfully maneuver the transducer, capturing images of growing babies, organs, and everything in between. Your keen eye for detail will transform fuzzy blurs into crystal-clear snapshots. 

• Comfort Ambassador: For many patients, an ultrasound can be a mix of excitement and anxiety. Your friendly demeanor and soothing presence will put them at ease. You'll be the master of small talk, cracking jokes and engaging in heartfelt conversations to help them relax during the procedure.

Qualifications:

• Experience Counts: Previous experience as an ultrasound tech is preferred, but we welcome talented newcomers who are eager to learn and grow.

Minimum Qualifications

Description 

Education: 

Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English.  

Experience: 

Minimum one-year clinical experience in the respective departmental required. 

License(s): 

Active registry with either Cardiovascular Credentialing International (offering, RCS, , or RVS) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (offering RDMS, RVT, RDCS,) in the specialty of Adult or Pediatric echocardiography and/or Vascular Technology required (For Departments 200252, 200267, 200268, 400252, 400268). 

Active ARDMS Registry in Abdomen and OB/GYN required. RVT registry also preferred  

(For Departments 209251, 209253, 209255, 209257, 209259, 209277, 209331). 

Certification(s): 

CPR certification upon hire. AHA BLS within 60 days of hire 

Computer / Typing: 

Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
