looking for someone who is an expert in UI design, UX design, and front-end development. You will be a natural at understanding human-computer interaction design (HCID), in producing elegant solutions to improve our application, and in developing on

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and deconstruct our users’ digital interactions and habits.
• Come up with UI and UX strategies based on our target goals.
• Create and maintain digital assets, such as interface design files, wireframes, and interactive mockups using (design and prototyping tools: e.g., Sketch and InVision)
• Design, build, and maintain highly reusable JavaScript, HTML and CSS code.
• Understand the limitations of our tech stack and business model and provide technical advice wherever necessary.
• Develop new user-facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
• A UI/UX designer is expected to deliver finished resources for the developer to incorporate into the app. However, quite often a front-end web developer needs to make some small adjustments.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as {{Git / Mercurial / SVN}}
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Technology, computer engineering, or any other related field is required.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• UI: 8 years (Preferred)
• UX: 8 years (Preferred)
