Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule and confirm appointments for patients
- Collect and verify patient insurance information
- Assist with treatment plan presentations and financial arrangements
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide excellent patient care
- Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries from patients
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a dental office preferred
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in using Open Dental or Dentrix
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information
