About the Role
Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.
We're looking for an experienced Treasury Manager to oversee all aspects of treasury operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in treasury management, with specific experience in financial institutions like JPM, managing multiple subsidiaries, and dealing with multi-currency transactions. The Treasury Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing treasury strategies to optimize cash management, liquidity, and risk management across the organization.
This is a full-time position based out of our Oakland office or US-Remote

What You'll Do
- Develop and execute comprehensive treasury strategies to effectively manage cash, liquidity, and financial risk.
- Manage day-to-day cash flow activities, including forecasting, monitoring, and reconciling cash balances across multiple subsidiaries and currencies.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient cash management and liquidity optimization.
- Manage relationships with banking partners and financial institutions, including negotiating terms and fees for banking services.
- Oversee foreign exchange risk management activities, including hedging strategies to mitigate currency exposure.
- Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities to optimize returns on excess cash.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory developments to assess their impact on treasury operations.
- Develop and maintain robust treasury policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting to senior management on cash flow, liquidity, and treasury-related risks.
- Lead and mentor a team of treasury professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the achievement of departmental goals and objectives.
Skills We're Looking For
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in treasury management, with a strong understanding of financial instruments, cash management techniques, and risk management strategies.
- Proven experience working with financial institutions like JPM, managing treasury operations for multi-subsidiary organizations, and handling multi-currency transactions.
- Proficiency in treasury management systems and financial software (e.g., Kyriba, TreasuryXpress, SAP).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of treasury professionals.
