Transcriptionist

We are currently seeking skilled and detail-oriented Transcriptionists to join our team. As a Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for converting audio or video recordings into written documents. The ideal candidate has excellent listening and typing skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Listen to audio or video recordings and accurately transcribe the content into written format.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of transcriptions by reviewing and editing as necessary.
• Adhere to formatting guidelines and transcription standards.
• Research and verify unfamiliar terms or jargon to ensure accuracy in the transcriptions.
• Manage workload and meet assigned deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Collaborate with other team members to address any questions or issues that arise during the transcription process.
• Communicate effectively with clients or project managers to clarify requirements or resolve any concerns.
• Use transcription software and tools efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Transcriptionist or in a similar role.
• Excellent listening and typing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with transcription software and tools.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in word processing software.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
• Must be based in the United States and able to work remotely.
