We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Medical Scribe to join our team. As a Medical Scribe, you will work closely with healthcare providers to accurately transcribe medical documentation and assist in maintaining patient records. This position requires knowledge of ophthalmology, physiology, anatomy, medical office systems, and the ability to type efficiently.
```Responsibilities```
- Accompany healthcare providers during patient visits to accurately document medical encounters
- Transcribe medical information including patient history, physical examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans
- Ensure timely and accurate entry of medical records into electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive patient information
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify any unclear or incomplete documentation
```Qualifications```
- Strong knowledge of ophthalmology, physiology, and anatomy
- Familiarity with medical office systems and procedures
- Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills to interact with healthcare providers and patients

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
