Job description

The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences within Stanford University’s School of Medicine is seeking a TTA County Liaison to act as a lead on a major, multi-site project across California titled EPI-CAL The TTA Liaison will collaborate with individuals from two other sites (UC Davis and UC San Francisco) to support the implementation of Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) for early psychosis. The purpose of this project is to support 42 counties across the state to develop Coordinated Specialty Care for individuals to ensure equitable access to gold standard care for early psychosis, resulting in early detection and accelerated recovery.

This role will draw on expertise in early psychosis and CSC service development particularly to support the implementation of CSC in community settings for early Psychosis. The TTA County Liaison will assess the training needs of community, develop training, and present findings and progress to site leadership and faculty. The TTA County Liaison will work closely with faculty and clinicians and other stakeholders who are directly supporting counties as they develop CSC service and present findings and make training recommendations.


Duties include:

  • Lead the planning and operations for programs or functions that have significant business, regulatory and/or technical challenges requiring subject matter expertise.
  • Evaluate programs or functions, policies and procedures. Identify issues, and develop alternative solutions which may include changes to programs, policies and procedures.
  • Review and analyze trends to advise and develop recommendations to achieve or modify the goals of the program or function.
  • Represent the program or function within the department, unit or school. Commit resources and provide information and/or training. Represent the program or function at the university level and/or to external/internal stakeholders and constituencies.
  • Manage and contribute to the development of outreach strategy that may include relationship development, communications
    and compliance.
  • May develop and/or oversee budgets; manage finances including monitoring, analyzing, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Assess training needs and may develop associated training.
  • May direct and/or supervise staff.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity, and experience, with coordinated specialty care in a community setting.
  • Knowledge and experience working in an early psychosis setting.
  • Experience in facilitating meetings.
  • Experience supervising others.
  • Experience of developing policies & procedures to support a community Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC).

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

  • Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
  • Frequently stand/walk, sitting, grasp lightly/fine manipulation.
  • Occasionally use a telephone.
  • Rarely lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh 11-20 pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This role is open to candidates anywhere in the United States. Stanford University has five Regional Pay Structures. The compensation for this position will be based on the location of the successful candidate.

The expected pay range for this position is $73,000 to $141,000 per annum.

Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
