Franklin Electric Intern Program
Building on Franklin Electric’s Key Factor for Success – Service – the Training Specialist Intern is responsible for assisting with the execution of customer-facing training initiatives. Reporting directly to the Manager, of Training Solutions, this position will help plan, create, and run training programs that lead to customer retention and satisfaction. This includes, but is not limited to; assisting with webinar and classroom training administration, and the production of e-courses, videos, and other supporting content.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Training Solutions team, business units, and trainers to help plan, create, and run FranklinTECH webinars
- Work with the Training Solutions team, business units, and trainers to help plan, create, and run FranklinTECH classroom training
- Become an advanced user in our Learning Management System (LMS) and related applications in order to create and manage course registrations, user inquiries, and related content
- Audit and organize LMS content and classroom PowerPoint decks
- Assess and coordinate materials for training video shoots and e-course development as needed
- Maintain and follow team storage, organization, and publication of final training files
- Correspond with project vendors as required
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned

Skills and Abilities
- Strong communication and writing skills, able to translate information to team members, vendors, and customers
- Ability to research and analyze information
- Ability to organize and plan sequence of own work
- Attention to detail
- General knowledge of LMS, CMS (Content Management System), or related systems
- General knowledge of how to run a live, onsite event
- General knowledge of how to run a webinar event
Education and Experience
- Working towards an associate or bachelor’s degree in communication, public relations, human resources, marketing, business, or a related field.
Computer Skills
- Basic: 10-key, alphanumeric data entry, presentation/PowerPoint, Microsoft Office

- While performing the functions of this job, the employee is:

- Regularly required to sit or stand and to walk.
- Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
