We are seeking a dynamic Training and Development Specialist to join our Coordination of Community Services Program. In this role, you will spearhead the planning and execution of engaging onboarding and orientation programs for new hires, ensuring they hit the ground running with confidence and competence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver monthly new hire orientations and re-certification trainings, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Collaborate closely with program staff and our People and Culture team to tailor trainings to the unique needs of our CCS Program.
- Utilize advanced virtual meeting tools like Zoom and Teams to facilitate interactive and impactful training sessions.
- Create compelling training materials, from case studies to PowerPoint presentations, that inspire and educate our staff.
- Maintain meticulous records and track training metrics to measure effectiveness and drive improvement.
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in virtual meeting tools and learning management systems.
- Familiarity with Medicaid, LTSS, and home-based services.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, in a professional environment.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to adapt training delivery to various group sizes and settings, including virtual, in-person, and hybrid events.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education or human services field.
- Minimum one year of full-time experience in training or professional development.
- Supervisory experience preferred, ideally within a training setting.
- Prior experience supporting individuals with complex needs is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a criminal background check.
- Up-to-date COVID vaccination documentation required as per CDC guidelines.
