About the role:
PBS Facility Service is seeking a Training Specialist who will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive training programs that enhance the knowledge, skills, and competencies of our employees across various roles, including porters, handymen, doormen, and more. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with department heads and management to design training modules that align with the company's goals, values, and industry standards. This role places a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional service to our clients, while also ensuring adherence to our high service quality standards. Proficiency in Spanish is a must, as it enables effective communication and training for our diverse team.
What you will do:

• Collaborate with department heads to assess training needs and create targeted training plans for different job roles, focusing on developing skills that directly contribute to delivering high-quality services.
• Design engaging and interactive training materials that reflect our commitment to service excellence, including presentations, workshops, and hands-on exercises.
• Deliver training sessions emphasizing the importance of upholding service quality standards throughout all interactions.
• Incorporate industry best practices, company policies, and safety protocols into training programs, ensuring that quality and safety go hand-in-hand.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, with a specific focus on how well employees are embodying our service values.
• Continuously update and refine training content based on feedback, evolving business needs, and industry trends, maintaining alignment with our quality-driven approach.
• Conduct quarterly reviews of company policies and procedures in collaboration with department heads, ensuring training materials are updated accordingly.
• Stay informed about state-mandated guidelines relevant to our services and integrate them into the training programs, ensuring compliance and quality adherence.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, development, and Quality Assurance across the organization, leveraging effective communication in both English and Spanish.

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Education, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Training Specialist or similar role, preferably in a diverse and dynamic service-oriented environment.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design techniques, with a focus on integrating service quality concepts.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences while underscoring the importance of quality.
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with the ability to deliver training in both languages effectively.
• Proficiency in creating training materials that highlight service quality initiatives.
• Organized and detail-oriented with exceptional project management skills to ensure quality-focused training delivery.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, emphasizing Quality Assurance as a shared responsibility.
• Passion for learning, growth, and staying current with industry trends, including advancements in quality management.
