- Associate Degree in social work preferred or 1year in human services, special education, related field.
- One year of direct experience working in Developmental Disabilities adult service programs (day and residential) preferred. Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) experience is preferred

- Tracks monthly document submission from each program site, conducts quality checks, and prepares the quality report.
- Track and perform quality check of the external document submissions from the
- Care managers such as LCED and Life Plan generate quality check reports.
- Document the findings from all quality checks and submit the information to the QA supervisor for approval before sending it to the program and/or care managers for correction. Follow-up as needed.
- Assist QA Supervisor in filing the document submissions in the binder and/or scanning them in the agency electronic database (EVERO) as needed.
- Create new charts for the new incoming individuals, archive the discharged and old documents, and update the charts as needed.
- Perform quality checks on daily transportation attendance and communicate any discrepancy to the Supervisor and/or transportation department as needed.
- Assist the QA team with third-party document retrieval.
- Assist QA team in audits and billing quarterly, such as HIPAA, quality audits, and billing audits as per DOH/OPWDD/OMIG regulations.
- Assist QA supervisor with a quality check on billing and vendor reports, and prepare reports of the findings while communicating any discrepancies with the team.
- Communicate effectively with the program supervisor/coordinator as needed.
- Participate in OPWDD training when requested.
