Training & Development Specialist
Rose-HulmanInstitute of Technology has an amazing opportunity for individuals who arepassionate and devoted to creating training and development programs foremployees by joining our Human Resources team as a Training and Development Specialist.
Asour Training and Development Specialist, you will collaboratewith various campus offices, subject matter experts, supervisors, staff, andfaculty to identify, implement, and assess employee learning and developmentneeds within the Institute. You will also provide and facilitate learningevents and training opportunities for the campus community. Other duties as assigned to meet the Institute's business needs.
Abachelor's degree in communication, education, or human resources managementand two to three years of experience in learning and development,organizational development, or a related field is required. Knowledge of adultlearning principles is necessary. Demonstrated experience in designing,developing, and delivery of quality face-to-face, blended, and/or onlinelearning is essential. Advanced analytical and project/process managementskills are necessary. Experience using collaboration tools/technologies, theability to develop process documentation in both online and printed formats;and the ability to collaborate with technical staff to develop training anddocumentation suitable for non-technical individuals are required. Excellentoral, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and/or use proprietarycomputer programs, evolving systems, and procedures is required.
