Data Coordinator

Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology has an amazingopportunity for individuals excited and committed to lifelong learning as aData Coordinator.

As the Data Coordinator you will coordinate the collectionand management of data for the Office of Institutional Research, Planning andAssessment and the Office of Learning and Technology. You will coordinateand complete official requests for data and analysis from internal and externalstakeholders.  You will support the director of Institutional Researchwith the collection, aggregation and submission of data and reports to federal,state, and private organizations. You will provide support for data entry,records management, survey development and distribution, report writing anddata collection for IRPA and L&T initiatives.  You will perform basicquantitative analyses of data using Excel, R-Studio, or other software asrequested. You will support office management and operations of the L&T andIRPA offices including the coordination of special programming, workshops, andtraining events; accreditation support; archival of institute reports anddocuments; and operational support of office team members. You will coordinateall budget processes and analyses including maintaining all department budgetsfor L&T and IRPA; managing purchasing and processing purchasing reports;managing service center project budgets and invoicing, and processing checkrequests and invoices via Concur ensuring compliance with all Business Officerequirements. 

Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor's degree and oneyear of related experience.

In addition to the qualifications, preferred candidateswill have three years of office management, including working with financialtransactions. Prior work experience in/or knowledge of higher education is aplus. Knowledge of Banner, FAST (budget software), and Concur (invoicesoftware) is preferred. Strong attention to detail, recordkeeping, and generaloffice skills are desired. Excellent public service, organizational,collaboration, time management, and communication skills are highly desired.The ability to maintain professional poise and confidence in varied situations,often interacting with students, faculty, staff, and external vendors ispreferred.
