In this role the Training & Development Reporting Analyst II will be responsible all reporting that is generated from the Cornerstone LMS. This includes reports created and distributed directly from the LMS and extracting data from the system to be used in other reporting dashboards. This role works with all business areas to help determine reporting and data needs as it relates to learning and development and performance management. The ideal candidate will have experience designing complex reports and dashboards from a Learning Management System (Cornerstone preferred), learning and development team experience, strong Excel and Tableau skills, data analytics experience, and strong business relationship skills. Experience working in a retail support environment is also a plus. The objective of this role is to provide business stakeholders with reports and data that gives them visibility into the effectiveness of training experiences and monitor completion rates of required compliance training.

This role is eligible to participate in ALDI's Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week).
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Delivers excellent customer support to report end users by answering questions and resolving issues.
• Translates end-user requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Collaborates with various teams within the business and management team to identify reporting needs, determines and carries out necessary processes and practices, and monitors progress and results.
• Communicates to internal teams and leadership report development issues and proposes reporting solutions.
• Recommends process improvements for area of responsibility.
• Leverages expertise in data visualization and graphical report design to produce informative, actionable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Conducts business and systems process analysis, focuses on quality improvement and data management and ensures data is reliable and valid.

• Liaises between the business and technology to correlate analytical requests and technology capabilities.
• Collaborates on all phases of reporting and analysis projects, including but not limited to, planning, validation, user acceptance, testing, execution, documentation, and related process development.
• Ensures that required and necessary documentation is completed and properly maintained to provide substantiation and assistance with information requests.
• Designs and automates comprehensive reports for upper management and various departments by combining data from multiple systems in order to meet their requirements.
• Maintains knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and upcoming product releases with a focus on Cognos BI, SAP, Tableau, Tableau Prep, Alteryx, and Microsoft SQL.
• Assists in training and mentoring the team to create a collaborative and supportive team environment.
• Job responsibilities include possible access to HIPAA-protected health information; as such, employee must comply with HIPAA Privacy and Security requirements and policies.
• Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to leadership.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology or a related field required.
• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in HR Reporting required.
• Experience with Human Resources reporting, Trending analyses, and creation of Human Resources KPI dashboards preferred.
• Experience creating reports within a Learning Management System (Cornerstone Reporting 2.0 preferred).
• Two or more years of experience using Tableau preferred.
• Experience using ETL tools such as Alteryx Designer and Tableau Prep preferred.
• Experience in related areas such as job classification and compensation, recruitment, selection, training, employee benefits, payroll, or other HR functions preferred.
• Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
Physical Requirements:
• Work may be performed in an office, remote office, or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
• Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
• Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
• Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
Travel:
• International & Domestic travel required.
• Up to 5%.
