The Learning & Development Trainer is responsible for planning, developing, and facilitating employee training programs for the organization. This role is responsible for partnering with business leaders to determine training needs and facilitate training programs to meet the needs. This role will also support the overall training initiatives for Constructive Loans.
What you will do for Constructive Loans:
- Identify, develop, and facilitate training for newly hired and existing employees
- Deliver training sessions covering specified areas such as on-the-job training, use of computers and software, interpersonal skills, quality and process issues, and product knowledge
- Plan and coordinate training classes/schedules for all departmental events
- Identify, develop, and deliver learning solutions for knowledge gaps
- Select and/or develop teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, and computer tutorials
- Collaborate with management, supervisors, and employees, to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives, and technologies
- Serve as a trusted advisor to internal customers to better understand opportunities for improvement
- Advise leadership of training gaps, areas for improvement, and cultural insights
What you will bring to Constructive Loans:
- Bachelor’s degree in Training & Development, Human Resources, Education, Psychology, or Business preferred
- 2+ years in building operations training programs
- Exceptional presentation skills, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to understand and teach concepts quickly and accurately, high attention to detail, and self-confidence
- Able to adapt to adult learning principles
- Excellent human relations and communication skills
- Ability to understand and teach concepts quickly and accurately
- Willingness to adapt to adult learning principles
- Must be available for occasional travel as needed
