The Training Coordinator will report to the Training Manager and is responsible for providing administrative support for the Training Department. The Training Coordinator may provide support to other teams within the Engineering group or other departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review course content for accuracy against existing safety standards
- Partner with the Training Manager and Trainers to design and develop new content
- Schedule courses open to the public and customer specific; coordinate all necessary logistics for the sessions, both in Canton and remote including securing venues, ordering food, ordering/shipping training materials, etc.
- Process customer applications including determining an individual's eligibility to participate
- Communicate course details both before and after the session including processing of payments
- Process course evaluations and feedback forms
- Deliver basic/intro level courses
- Research modern and effective methods for training delivery, including digital delivery and associated tools; provide recommendations for implementation
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates' degree and three (3 to four (4) years' experience in an office setting or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written including public speaking
- Intermediate to Expert level Microsoft Office user, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Forms
- Ability to operate presentation tools including Teams, webcam, audio equipment, projectors, etc.
- Exceptional planning, organizational, problem solving, and time-management skills
- Capable of multi-tasking and analyzing data
- Possesses superb attention to detail
- Willingness to learn Pilz products and procedures; provide suggest of how to improve existing processes
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and team oriented
Desired Qualifications:
- Formal Technical training in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering
- Previous experience delivering trainings for classes up to twenty (20) individuals
- Knowledge of learning management systems, instructional design, and e-learning platforms.
- Basic Accounting experience, processing orders, credit cards, and correspondence
Physical Requirements: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions.)
- Seated for extended periods extensive screen (computer) time
- Lift/move up to 50 pounds when shipping/receiving training units
- Room and food set up for training courses
