Your Role

Atlas Copco Comptec LLC is looking for a Traffic Team Lead. You will report to the Warehouse Manager. This position is located on-site in Voorheesville, NY.

Your mission is to oversee employees, develop and implement procedures for shipping of all materials, inbound and outbound, in a safe, compliant, and cost-effective manner.

• You will ensure that the warehouse is a safe and compliant work environment, following all relevant safety regulations and protocols, and taking necessary steps to prevent accidents, injuries, and non-compliant shipments.
• You will maintain accurate records and documentation of all shipping activities.
• You will oversee the shipping and receiving of goods for equipment, ensuring that all products are delivered and received, both domestically and internationally per country and customer specification.
• You will evaluate new order quotes from customers and recommend carriers for all major transportation channels inbound and outbound.
• You will manage a team of equipment workers, assigning responsibilities, and ensuring that all employees are trained and working effectively.
• You will handle freight damage and service claims.
• You will partner with all other departments regarding equipment shipping.

• You have 3+ years of experience in logistics and customs traffic management in a leadership position.
• You have a Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain or equivalent work experience.
• You have the ability to think out of the box and find creative solutions to problems.
• You have supervisory skills.
• You have experience leading projects and programs.

• The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $110,000.
