QA Team Lead
My team is looking to add an experienced and dynamic QA Team Lead! Please see the below job description-
Job Summary: The QA Team Lead oversees quality assurance activities, coordinating personnel engaged in inspection and testing processes. This role involves indirect supervision of the Quality Assurance Department, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
Job Duties:

1. Facilitate daily activities and schedule overtime for QA Technicians across all shifts.
2. Train Technicians on inspection techniques and regulatory requirements.
3. Conduct audits of facilities, manufacturing processes, and SOPs.
4. Perform QA inspections to ensure timely product checks.
5. Analyze and resolve day-to-day work problems, assisting workers as needed.
6. Maintain required records and documents.
7. Possess in-depth knowledge of setup and operation for the assigned area.
8. Assist engineers during investigations, including root cause analysis.
9. Assign work to employees under supervisor guidance.
10. Enforce company policies and safety regulations.
11. Resolve basic quality issues; escalate complex issues to Supervisor/Management.
12. Complete hourly timekeeping approvals.
13. Troubleshoot inspection equipment interactions using reference materials.
14. Comprehend and interpret advanced measurement techniques and blueprints.
15. Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing and cycle counting.

Requirements:

• ASQC, CQT Certification, or equivalent highly preferred.
• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.

Salary:

• Up to $29/hr

Note: Technical writing of SOPs experience is a plus. Working knowledge of inventory systems, inspections/audits, SOPs, and ISO standards is expected. Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing and cycle counting is a plus.
