Title Clerk

ABOUT US:

Title Clerk: Job duties:

● Emails

○ First thing in the morning, check emails from customers/employees/banks

and respond accordingly

○ Keep emails open during day to respond quickly to customer

queries/complaints

● Phone Calls/Voicemails

○ Answer and resolve concierge/customer calls about registrations

● Dealer Services Network /DLR DMV

○ Check daily and throughout the day for rejections

○ Fix issues

○ Print out DLR invoices

■ Post invoice and clear tag schedule (330)

● Tag Schedule (330)

○ Aged items

■ Research past due titles

● Call auctions for status

■ Update Reynolds heatsheet

○ Credits

■ Cut payoff or tag overages due to customer

■ Mail it out once signed

■ File copy for reference

○ Clear tag schedule monthly (weekly if possible)

● Deal Jackets (20-50 deals daily)

○ Receive funded deals

■ Pull title

■ Check for inaccuracies

■ Process title/registration in DLR DMV

○ Receive draft deals that need to be titled before funding

■ Pull title

■ Send to FOTA to be processed

■ Update heatsheet and billers

○ Finalize title/registration

■ Create deal manifest for DMV

■ Pack deals into Fedex boxes

■ Send completed deals to DMV

● Floorplan

○ Receive titles from Doral Daily

■ Login to VMS

■ Floorplan titles that need to be floor plan

■ File away in title books by make and VIN number

○ Receive lien release letters

■ Process ELT titles that need to be on the floor plan

■ Respond to letters from lienholders

○ Create floor plan list for Linda

■ Check titles to make sure they are on the list

■ Pull titles that need to be on floor plan

■ Send ELT titles to be printed for floor plan to FOTA

○ Dealer Tag inventory when requested by tag agency

○ Sort and distribute plates to FI Department

○ Keep log of Temporary Tag Log for paper tags given

SCHEDULE:

• 8-hour shift
