Tire Mounter /Warehouse Worker

Summary/Objective

Maxam Tire North America (MTNA), leads Canada, USA and Mexico commercial activities for its parent company Sailun Tire, an Asian based tire manufacturer established in 2002 and headquartered in Qingdao, China.

We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Tire Mounter for our warehouse to distributes wholesale industrial, construction and OTR tires across the United States.

Essential Functions

· Mounting and dismounting solid tires onto vehicles and equipment according to manufacturer specifications.

· Ensure proper alignment, tire fitting and balance of tires during installation.

· Inspect tires for quality control (defects or damage) prior to installation.

· Use hand and power tools to complete mounting tasks.

· Ensures all safety procedures are being followed

· Performs minor repairs and servicing necessary for regular upkeep.

· Is familiar with the proper use of all equipment and knows which tools are used to properly mount tires.

· Follows all safety guidelines and performs regular inspections checks to ensure all safety standards are met and the machine is in working order.

· Loading and Unloading Trucks/Containers.

· Conduct daily inspections on all equipment (i.e., forklift, squeeze clamp, reach truck)

· Put-away inventory.

· Operate and maintain warehouse equipment.

· Other duties as assigned to the warehouse worker

Physical Requirements

· Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).

· Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.

· Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling tools and equipment

· Performing work while standing for long period of time.

· Use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.

Required Education & Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Previous experience as a Tire Mounter or similar role preferred.

· Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.

· Ability to lift heavy tires and equipment as needed.

· Attention to detail and accuracy in workmanship.

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

· Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies in tire mounting.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
