Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker

Job Description

Reed & Graham Geosynthetics, a distributor of Erosion Control, Sediment Control and Stabilization products is seeking a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker in their West Sacramento Warehouse.

This position’s primary responsibility is to deliver materials to Contractors, Municipalities, Homeowners and End Users. Other responsibilities include:

Job Responsibilities

• Efficiently and accurately route, load and safely delivery to company standards.
• Utilizing the best routes to conserve fuel and time.
• Delivering materials to their designated spots while maintaining safety standards.
• Delivering to meet and exceed customers’ expectations.

• Drive company vehicles and company forklifts following safety standards.
• Utilize safe driving practices while in company vehicle.
• Utilize safe forklift operating procedures.

• Work following safety standards.
• Utilize safe work habits including lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling, climbing onto and off of objects.

• Working directly with the Warehouse Manager. Monitor & maintain inventory levels.
• Conduct daily spot inventory level checks.
• Conduct weekly inventory counts on 30% of the materials.
• Conduct monthly inventory counts verifying levels vs. companies inventory levels.
• Make necessary adjustments to “off counts” with WM and CSR.
• Working with WM and CSR to set up transfers to and from the San Jose location.

• Maintain the warehouse in a clean and organized manner.
• Keep floors swept and free of grease and other obstructions.
• Organize the products in a manner to facilitate a smooth operation.
• Keep the Customer Service counter area organized and free of dust and debris.
• Maintain the tools, air compressor and other operational necessary items in a clean and satisfactory manner.
• Keep the loading dock in a clean organized manner.

• Safety/OSHA.
• Practice OSHA and Cal OSHA safety standards in the operation at all times.
• Perform monthly fire extinguisher checks.
• Conduct periodic building walks looking for safety hazards.
• Perform closing routine at end of day.
• Customer Service.
• Assist will call customers with loading materials.
• Unload inbound and load out bound freight on LTL carriers.
• Help answer phones during lunch breaks, PTO, sick calls and vacations.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
