A Tier I Case Manager will be tasked with overseeing personal injury cases from intake to resolution; negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters, draft demands, lawsuits and other court documents using templates; complete discovery, trial prep, attend trials to assist attorney. Will be required to work in the office at least three days a week with the possibility of working from home two days a week after 3 months of successful training.
Skills
Client services: communicate with clients on a regular basis. Respectfully answer any non-legal questions and update clients on the status of their case with kindness and empathy.
Communication: able to communicate in a professional manner with attorneys, adjusters, medical providers, and court clerks via phone, email, and text.
Detail oriented: able to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
Computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe. Comfortable with learning new software, using templates and shared drives.
Organizational Skills: Multi-tasking, prioritization and deadline oriented.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience preferred.
Experience working in a law office preferred.
Fully bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred.
