This posting is for instructors of the South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC) Thurston County Fire Training Academy, in partnership with the Thurston County Fire Chiefs' Association.


What You'll Do



Instruct courses during the five-month long Fire Academy program.


Qualifications You Possess



Recruitment through your affiliated fire department to work for the SPSCC Corporate & Continuing Education Department.

Hourly non-permanent employees accrue vacation, sick, personal holiday, personal leave, and holiday credit. These accruals are pro-rated based off of the hours worked in the prior month for both the vacation and sick monthly. The personal holiday and personal leave types only accrue after 4 months of continuous employment with the college.
