Part time CDL Hazmat Driving Instructor

Local CDL school is looking for an additional CDL Instructor in our Tacoma & Kent locations. We are looking for a professional driver with experience behind the wheel to help train and educate the next generation of truck drivers.

Must be a team player with good communication skills, patience, and the drive to help students build the skills needed for a career as a professional driver. Full or Part time employment is available.

We've been teaching Washington students how to drive trucks for over 10 years. Come join our great team!

We need instructors who can help students with:
- Backing skills
- Washington State Pre-trips
- Shifting a 10 speed transmission
- Driving on city roads
- Class A and B certifications

Qualifications:
- Hazmat certification

- Current Class A CDL
- Valid Medical Certificate
- 2 year minimum driving experience with Class A CDL
- Additional endorsements preferred but not required
- Teaching/Mentoring experience is a plus
- Desire to help prepare the next generation of CDL driver

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour DOE

Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
