About the Role
As a Third-Shift Quality Engineer, you will ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with all relevant regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement quality systems, conduct quality audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. You will also supervise the quality technicians and auditors assigned to your shift.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
- Conduct quality inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
- Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Provide training on quality systems and procedures to employees
- Support project management activities related to quality improvement initiatives
-Supervise assigned personnel
Who we are looking for
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Engineer role within an automotive manufacturing facility
- Strong knowledge of quality systems (ISO 90001)
- Proficient in conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions
