Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking an experiencedTest Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
The QA Test team is empowered to develop and execute their own test scripts to ensure that quality software is provided for release to production and to certify system changes. Due to the independent nature of the application and the contract, there are many opportunities within the test team to improve and streamline the process through automation and implementation of other tools.
What you'll do:

• Producing testing documents, requirements, and test control databases.
• Perform solution testing confirming business requirements,
• Maintain test databases and ensures their integrity and currency, develops, compiles, documents
• Runs automated test scripts and test procedures, runs regression tests, and tracks status of defects.
• Provide quality assurance testing for all systems to ensure the development and distribution of quality products.
• Assist with roll-out of systems documentation.
• Produce lists of defects that are to be resolved and incorporated into future releases of the application as required.
• Communicate with analysts and programmers about formal testing plans, problems, and results.
• Develop technical documentation and reports.
• Ensure all processes are adhered to appropriately throughout project lifecycles.
• Ensure all existing processes are fully documented, suggesting improvements, updating documentation, and communicating all process changes to relevant stakeholders .

Qualifications
Desired Qualifications

• 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
• Active DoD Public Trust clearance is required
• Experienced with frequent use and application of technical standards, principles and theories.

• Familiar with Telerik or equivalent automation testing tool
• Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) (Azure DevOps)
• SAFe Agile

Desired Qualifications:

• NSTQB Cert
• Experience working in a deadline-driven environment, handling and prioritizing multiple tasks.
• Works under general direction, independently determines and develops approach to solutions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively across all levels of staff and management.

Target Salary Range
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
