Description:The Department of Engineering has an opening in its Industrial and Systems Engineering program for a faculty member with expertise in operations research, data science, management science, and/or similar fields. The engineering programs at Hofstra are experiencing rapid growth, and the successful applicant will contribute to the department’s ability to offer a top-tier undergraduate educational experience to our students. Hence, candidates must be effective communicators with a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching, be able to initiate sustained research – especially of a type that can involve advanced undergraduates – and show initiative in seeking external funding for research. Qualifications:- PhD in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field
