Job Description
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with diesel engines.
- Accurately and legibly completes service records detailing work performed, problems found, cost of parts installed, and time invested in service and repair.
- Inspect and test diesel engines to identify any potential problems.
- Repair or replace faulty parts, such as fuel injectors, pistons, or gaskets.
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of diesel engines.
- Servicing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic equipment and systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues with diesel engines.
- Experience with fabricating or modifying parts is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Welding experience preferred
- Ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
