Your Role:
ATI, Inc. is looking for Temporary Environmental technician candidates or qualified unexploded ordnance (UXO) Technician I or Technician II that will assist in various environmental monitoring, sampling, and data collection activities to support our environmental project at Rocky Mountain National Park.
Responsibilities:
In addition to being able to fully perform project functions on a daily basis, the work will consist of:
- Conduct environmental fieldwork, including soil, water, and air sampling. Assist in general field surveys and compliance monitoring.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and regulatory permit processes.
- Work under the supervision of experienced staff and project managers.
- Support environmental assessment, site inspection, and construction oversite.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and regulatory agencies to ensure project compliance and success.
- Participate in environmental training and stay updated on relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Other duties that may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Individual must have or have the capability to complete an OSHA 40-hour training in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 and be in a (or be available for) medical monitoring program prior to starting on-site work.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, or related field is preferred.
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required. The individual must meet the minimum Qualifications set forth for a UXO Tech I in accordance with the current Department of Defense Explosives Safety Board (DDESB) Technical Paper (TP)-18 Minimum Qualifications for Personnel Conducting MEC related activities.
- Previous experience or internships in environmental, permitting, monitoring, sampling, or fieldwork preferred.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and permitting processes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Participate in environmental training and stay updated on relevant regulations and industry best practices.
