Job Description
As you might expect, maintenance repairs and services will be at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you will be:
Building Maintenance
Ensures timely completion of all assigned work orders.
Completes basic building repairs related to air conditioner units, air exchange systems, electrical work, carpentry, fixtures, HVAC, plumbing, appliances and windows.
Completes preventative maintenance, grounds maintenance, basic housekeeping tasks, and general upkeep.
Assists in prioritizing work orders and monitoring maintenance of buildings and equipment.
Prepares vacant units as assigned.
Communication
Interacts with residents, vendors and fellow employees respectfully and professionally, treating others with dignity and empathy.
Works with management to ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Clear, concise communication with the client and the account manager on work schedule for assigned areas, and preventative maintenance.
Shift: Monday to Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, this is a Temporary position, the contract is for up to 6 months.
Minimum Requirements
18 years or older.
Minimum of 1 year maintenance/trades experience
Able to stand, walk, reach, climb, bend and kneel.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
Able to withstand external weather conditions such as working outside in the rain, cold, heat or other adverse weather.
