The Telehealth Service Coordinator collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Operations, IT, and Clinical leaders, to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality and cost-effective Telehealth Services, fostering an improved user experience for Wellpath. Reporting to the Telehealth Operations Manager, this role oversees the implementation of program development components, from new provider orientation to continuous performance management, and actively contributes to strategic planning for ongoing enhancements. The Telehealth Service Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining operational efficiencies, guaranteeing the reliability and excellence of Wellpath's Telehealth Services.

• Provide guidance and support to telehealth providers, ensuring adherence to standards and compliance with regulations, including ACA, NCCHC, and State requirements.
• Facilitate the implementation of new Telehealth Services and sites, coordinating orientation, training, and ongoing education for telehealth providers and staff.
• Act as a liaison between Telehealth Services and other healthcare providers, participating in regular telehealth meetings and quality assessments to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor and assess risk management situations, maintaining communication with clinical medical services and promptly completing required reports.
• Contribute to the development and review of policies and procedures, applying critical thinking and sound judgment to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of Telehealth Services, while remaining attentive to detail and adaptable in various situations.

Education

• College degree in nursing or other healthcare related field.
• Master’s degree in a healthcare related field preferred.

Experience

• Minimum three (3) years of job-related experience, or post-graduate studies, or a combination preferred.
• Experience in the development, implementation, and management of healthcare services preferred.
• Experience in telemedicine preferred.
• Advanced knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
