What does a Software Support Administrator do?
The Technology Support Administrator manages the software we use to support our operations and provides support to staff in the use of those platforms. They also help develop, improve, and automate standard operating procedures. The Technology Support Administrator is also responsible for providing the reporting and analytics for data-driven business decisions.
- Support the organization by managing operations software platforms: daily operation and administration, configuration, maintenance, and serve as the primary point of contact with vendors
- Provide training and guide materials on operations and technology to staff on an ongoing basis in person and remotely, enabling them to achieve self-sufficiency
- Ensures association operations aligns with common configurations, standard operating procedures and best business practices in coordination with the COO. Suggest areas for improvement and automation in operations and technology processes
- Serve as the primary point of support in the use of operations software for branch and association staff to troubleshoot issues and provide root cause analysis when problems arise
- In coordination with senior management produce standardized and custom statistical reporting
- Provide data conversion, analysis, and merging in Excel to allow coordination between various technology systems and services
- Provide for other association data, information, and analysis needs
- Anticipate future needs and identifies proactive solutions
- Assist in developing and enforcing standard association technology policies and procedures
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2+ years' previous work-related experience preferred
- Experience in database and metrics-driven business environment
- Complete required certifications within 30 days of hire
- Complete all required Branch and Position specific trainings as required within two weeks of hire
- Ability to obtain a criminal record clearance
- Ability to participate in the DMV Pull Program
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office Programs (i.e. Word, Teams); can adapt to using various types of software as required
